Getting to and leaving the airport
Brisbane Airport is conveniently located off the Gateway Motorway (M1). Passengers who are travelling to or from the direction of the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast can connect to Airport Drive and the International and Domestic terminals from the M1.
The quickest route to / from the Brisbane CBD is via the M7 tunnel or along Kingsford Smith Drive, which can be congested during peak travel times.
Public transport includes taxi service as well as the Airtrain. The Airtrain operates between the hours of 5am and 10pm and travel time from Brisbane Central Station is just 24 minutes. Easy connections are available with all Queensland Rail services.
